Born to a family employed by a multilateral development organization, my childhood was spent moving in and around North America, Europe and Africa. Although I initially had an interest in design as a general area of study, I developed a passion for architecture as a result of two major life experiences: my exposure to diverse cultures, people, and styles of building, particularly in the ancient world; and growing up with a physically and developmentally challenged sibling. Through my experiences, most notably those growing up in Africa, I have developed a strong interest in design as a means of problem solving, innovating, connecting, and experiencing. Notably, I aspire to achieve and pursue methods of design that are able to achieve a seamless and mindful consideration of people's diverse needs, as well of those of the environment. All should have the opportunity to experience and thrive, in the
present, and the future.
Currently, I am in my fifth and final year, completing my thesis at Syracuse University School of Architecture, an accredited 5-year professional degree program. I have also completed a minor in psychology.
